So I've finally gotten settled in at my newest school. This being my third college and being ten times bigger than the last too I was very excited for the new atmosphere and campus. It's been about a week and a half since I moved in and I can comfortably say I shall be happy here. For those who don't know I'm a computer science major planning on getting his concentration in artificial intelligence at University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Some of the finer points on this new school is the new student union, upkeep of the campus, awesome food (although mostly I've just had bagels and pizza), and there are other students that I actually know. So far it's a bit early to judge the computer science department, the reason I changed schools for the third time (Methodist University had a crappy department), as I only have one actual computer science class and it's on a subject I know very little about. My dorm is very nice. One of the nicest I've ever lived in. It's suite style rooms, meaning there are two rooms, a common room, and a bath room shared between the four of us. This means lots of space to move about and places to study. My biggest complaint is how crappy the internet is, 2 mbps? Cmon! So far the schoolwork hasnt been piling up which is good. I've got a lot of reading to do and only three papers to write the whole semester.
I hope other college students are doing well and good luck to you!
